Fast with very pertinent search results.

Cant recommend it enough! Its safer, faster, & more efficient than its competitors! Invisible surfing! Weve had it for probably 4 years now & havent had a computer glitch since. (Our old browser brought viruses, spyware, & repair bills several times a year. Our computer was agonizingly slow & so was our internet use. This was from that popular "free" search engine most people use.) Also, I just hate the idea of those who have no right to, knowing information about me & my loved ones that we didnt volunteer. Why isnt it considered breaking-&-entering or theft when complete strangers sneak onto someone elses computer, "place" "cookies" that use up someone elses purchased memory & negatively affect someone elses computer use, or listen & watch someone elses family by commandeering someone elses camera & software? They werent given a password or key, werent given permission, or offered a place to store their things. If a person physically entered your house that way, hed be arrested! DuckDuckGo recognizes this as a violation & prevents advertisers, pervs, & advertising pervs from doing this. The only complaint I have is, the iPhone version doesnt have all the same features the app has for computers & other devices. On this version theres no parental control, site-blocking, or ad opt-outs/preferences on the settings.

I like the fact that I feel a little more secured, but after reading the disclaimer whats the point of this app then?

I like the search engine well enough for the fact that it doesnt track me and use my information to market crap to me, etc, but I could do without the liberal leaning bias news stories that dominate the home page. They post negative stories about those on the right but only positive stories and articles about those on the left. Its very obvious and almost annoying enough for me to find another search engine and not recommend them to others.

App looked good but kept crashing so much I had to delete it and look elsewhere.

This app is horrible! It used to be really good but then they added "stories" which are bias. Search engine crashes and you cant add a bookmark like you could on previous version. UNINSTALLED!!

UPDATE ALREADY!!! I love DDG, but this app is soo buggy.. It took them forever to introduce a proper forward/backward feature that actually functioned well.. So I dont expect anymore much needed features or fixes to bugs anytime soon.. also, stories have gotten scarce and less interesting in the past few updates.. OH YEAH! DDG ALLOWS BROWSER HIGHJACK from shady adverts; Open a page with ads and Always get redirected to appstore for a stupid app that has hundreds of dollars in "in app purchases". I know aggressive, evil and annoying advertisers are mostly to blame but.. will be using Dolphin..

Search keeps breaking. So yeah 1 star. It is supposed to be a search app. Keep getting blank white page when searching. Thought it was resolved with iOS update but getting blank results again. Weak.

And, to my understanding, it does not allow tracking.

Used to be my go to search engine. Hate new version confuses search and stories. Wish I could get old version back.

Was using DuckDuckGo as my new go-to browser on my iPad for a couple of weeks now. Loved it! Was notified to update it a couple of days ago, & it went to dark-shadow mode, with word "waiting" beneath it. Tried to pause, reactivate, delete (then reinstall) but cant do any of it! Also re-started the iPad. Nothing works! Its crashed! Its broken! Please fix it!!!

This has fast become my favorite search engine, browser and news feed. I like the search suggestions at the bottom of each article, for those that may wish to dig deeper. Keep up the good work DuckDuckGo!

Why would an update for a search engine that "doesnt track you" suddenly SAVE YOUR RECENT HISTORY as default? Lying bait-and-switchers dont make the cut on this device.
