It crashes after opening

It crashes right after opening

Crashed the third time I searched and has crashed on every subsequent attempt to use it.

I try to use the app for online privacy but after clicking to follow a link the tool bar at the bottom changes to where there is not a back button. The only favorite pages I seem able to save are ones from the news stories. I do not see a way to make a favorite page of a website that I choose. Sometimes it is impossible to email myself a link to a particular website. To the reviews that posted about the leanings of the chosen top news stories, click on settings and uncheck the boxes for the news stories you do not want to receive. I really want to like this app but if I cant save or bookmark my favorite websites and am not able to return to a previous website it is kind of worthless.

I like the headlines because theyre customizable. One issue Ive had recently is that the search bar will keep populating with the URL of the page Im on after Ive erased it. That means I have to go back to the homepage to type a new search, or force-close the app.

DDG has been a good alternative search engine for many, many years. The current upgrade crashes regularly, though, on an iPad 2. Ive reported the problems in detail and hope a future update will make it useful again. Id recommend waiting until then.

DuckDuckGo is my go-to search engine now. I believe in what theyre doing, not tracking what you search and selling it to big corporations, like Google does. I also love the stories it presents, at first, I thought it was lame, but then I started reading them, and they dont go to the most obvious websites all the time, which I like. You had to get this app. F--k Google, go with DDG.

The app is by far one of my favorite iOS apps. The DDG search engine is smart and powerful as well as private. The news storys is a great added bonus that would work even as a standalone app. Would recommend this app to everyone.

Ive been using Duck Duck Go as my main server for at least 2 yrs. I Love that they Do Not Track You , privacy is important & they respect that unlike the others who shall remain nameless !!

Im a huge fan of DDG. They provide a great service via their app and website. Even if privacy isnt a concern, try searching on their website (or app) and I guarantee it will find more relevant and useful results than Google. And the bangs and cheat sheets are awesome!

The app is great. Excellent!! Just one problem.... in the search tab when you are typing the cancel button is "c...el", which is annoying. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

Doesnt collect cookies or website history on the iPad. Fantastic. I cant stand the intrusion of safari. Thanks!!
