What is happening with this app?

Since the first "Stories" update this app has been getting so bad... at first you couldnt save Websites anymore but searches instead... now whenever you click on any website link it opens the airdrop menu on iphone instead.. Im so glad my iPad is still on iOs 6 so that the old duckduckgo app on it wont patch to these terrible new versions. Its a pain to browse with this.
